Learn more about our airspading solution
WHAT IS AIR SPADING
Air spading is a specialist, non-invasive method used for both tree root investigation and soil decompaction. Using compressed air, soil can be carefully removed from around the root system without causing damage.
This process allows us to loosen compacted soil and improve conditions around the tree. The area can then be backfilled with a blend of the existing soil and nutrient-rich compost to improve structure, fertility and overall soil health.
If a tree is showing signs of decline, the cause is often hidden beneath the surface. By exposing the root system, we can inspect for damage, disease or decay that may be affecting the tree’s health or stability.
Air spading also improves the growing environment by increasing access to water, oxygen and nutrients, helping trees recover and thrive.
